Default Converting my car from pull to push release? Possible/expensive?

I bought a used hyper exedy twin plate clutch, as it was a 5 speed I assumed it would be a pull type. It's not.

Does anyone know if its possible to convert my car to suit, or indeed if the tin plate can be altered to fit my pull type system .

Not sure if it's compatible for you,but i know that the OS GIKEN has a part that converts pull type configuration to push type it might be useful if it can work for you,it's not cheap though:http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...productID=2280.SJ.

Wow, that is pricey.

I'm hoping that the clutch can be modified to fit, I'll be calling exedy tomorrow.

but.. At least there is a solution albeit a costly one.

do you mean you have bought a kit for a Hawk 2.5WRX 2006> twin plate and trying to use in an older car??

be aware that the gearbox castings for these cars are totally different to accomodate the 'push' m/cylinder, etc.......it might actually be easier to simply use the Hawk gearbox

The engines gonna produce over 500bhp, and I've had a six speed conversion done.

The clutch came off a GB270. And yes I know fcuked up.

If the gearbox casings are different, I guess the best route would be to contact Exedy to see if the clutch can be altered. There can't be that many different components, can there!
