Default Looking to go Twin Scroll, but what turbo?

I have a 2007 Hawkeye Sti Type UK and I want to go twin scroll to about 400hp.
It's a daily driver so needs to reliable and yes there will be an engine rebuild at the same time

Any recommendations on turbo to go for also if I need to move to a FMIC?

Cheers
Matt

pretty limited really, SC42 billet twinscroll would be the obvious choice, would also be wise to consider a FMIC at this level.

You'd also need Headers, Sump, up pipe to covert a UK to twin scroll

to convert to a twinscroll turbo (off a japanese car) you require the twinscroll oil sump and headers for it to physically fit.

A standard billet single scroll turbo would probably be sufficient for what you want, SC38/SC42 billet turbos will get you to where you want with near enough OEM spooling capabilities.

Thanks all. Will look at both options and see where it takes me if it's easy enough to find the two scroll parts I would rather go that way for drive ability as I am not going silly on hp.

That is cracking. Will definitely look into that. What sort of engine are you running? Forged internals I assume?

Hi there

Its not worth it to do Twin scroll conversion on yours as you will need Twin scroll headers with Up pipe, sump you don't need or oil dispstick, those are same or similar on 2.5L,but you will need downpipe for sure as downpipe on Twin scroll is different to single scroll

And about the turbo choices on Twin Scroll front, then you have few choices like from Scoobyclinic or from LM4xx or MDX321 series

Really depends what power are you thinking to run,but I would probably go with SC42(but on 2.5L I would choose SC46) or MDX321T on 2.5L

Thanks,Jura
