Default Wrapping Headers With Slip Joints ??

Im going to wrap my new headers next week before they go on the car and im just wondering about wrapping the slip joints and adjustment sliders. Im guessing i will have to wrap up to the joints and leave them exposed in case i need to make adjustments during fitting ???

(if you can) Fit them into position, tighten the slip joints then take them back off. Wrap and refit

That would be the best option but i have a few other parts to fit including a fmic before it goes for a map tweak so i need to have them wrapped before i start really.
