Default VF23 broken compressor wheel.

Hello mate's,

i recently bought a Ver 3 STI and the VF23 has a broken compressor wheel. some of the blades look likes there have been a bolt or something between there. I also come from holland and they don't got many of those VF20 serie turbo's.

Does someone know if you can get only the compressor wheel somewhere because the housing isn't damaged. and i only need the wheel. i saw kinugwa sold them but are they any good?

thanks in advance!

Hi.I have billet compressor wheel for my vf43 from Kunigawa it looks like top quality item.
I guess that direct replacement OEM ones are good quality as well.

If you do change it make sure to balance CHRA core.

Have a read at this with regard to DIY turbo rebuilding. I found it interesting and encouraging.

http://www.turborebuild.co.uk/p/option_page/5/

I rebuilt a turbo for a TDI Bora almost a year ago using the methods described (without seeing that page, just common sense) and it's been 100%.

You've already seen these haven't you?

They seem to get great reviews from people on here.
