Default Actuator gone weak

Looks like the actuator has gone weak on the car as the wastegate is rattling on tick over and low engine rpm load.

When pull arm back the noise goes straight away.

Been told the actuator is "fixed" on my car/turbo so cant tighten it up.

So need a new standard actuator as the cars been mapped to the standard item. Where is best to purchase one if can actually buy one?? It's for jdm twinscroll turbo.

Thanks in advance

I know, just thought being adjustable would have future advantages. What's the standard WG pressure for your turbo?

Ah no probs. I looked at the ICP website and they don't list a new genuine part. They only list Forge actuators that have been preset to factory boost levels. http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/part...or&searchPart=

There are others too, have a look at them all.

I take it the turbo listed in the link above is correct one for my car?

That's for a spec-C I believe. What year and model do you have?

A different actuator should be fine providing you set it to where your standard one opens. What's to say it wasn't weak when it was mapped?

I already suggested a different actuator, he doesn't want to have to set it up again by the looks of things. I'd say it'll need set up anyway!

True could been but it wad mapped after been run in from brand new so likely hood of it been weak from then would be quite small I would of thought.

If no way round it I'll have to have a adjustable one and set up but would thought could just buy the standard actuator that come with the turbo even have order from Japan.

That is the model/ year above
