I have a 1997 UK turbo which has an autobahn FMIC fitted along with hard pipework and so on. It also has a K&N cone filter with the correct MAF adapter. The car was like this when I got it. I'm wondering would I be wise to go back to the standard air box and say a STI TMIC?

It's not heavily modified at the moment and probably in the region of 280bhp at best on the TD04, standard injectors, full decat and Nur Spec R system. During the winter I'll be fitting 440s and a TD05. Already got ESL.

Excuse the spelling mistake in the title.

If it's been remapped you probably don't want to go just changing that stuff back to standard. Unless you're going to remap it again ofcourse.

Yes, I'll be remapping anyway for the TD05 and 440s.

your bumper will be chopped and all though , and the inner wing , etc.
unless its poorly fitted i would probably just keep it.

I chopped the bumper of my RA, but i was never overly happy with the fitment, so this time i have newage WRX TMIC to go on and if i ever approach 350ish ill change to a Sti one.
