New to this but I have an 06 Impreza non-turbo with big end failure. I spent nearly 2 grand having it rebuilt with modified oil pump and acl bearings but 500 miles later the same thing happened again. The mechanic who did the work has now gone bust and I'm left skint and with a dead Scooby ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I've got an 06 legacy non-turbo engine lined up but I'm being told the wiring loom and coil packs are different.. I can't afford anything else as this engine is a good price.
My question is, can I use the block? I have a mate who can swap ancillaries but need to know if it will work at all or if anything else may be a problem..
This has been one of the most stressful times of my life and I would really appreciate some help..
Cheers
Alex
