Just recently whilst driving I have noticed a quite loud knocking/tapping from the rear left of my car, only happens at low speed and will carry on after the turn for a few seconds. Any ideas what this could be ? Just changed the rear break pads to EBC bluestuff not sure whether this is anything to do with it but like I said before it's quite a loud knock, especially at low speed. It's muffled a bit by the exhaust but definately noticable at low revs. Thanks in advance, cheers.

 

Must probably the rear suspension struts.. Very common on these models.. You have 2 choices.. Either remove and refurb yours..or buy new ones..obviously refurb ing is the cheapest.. But it will come back.. So buying new ones is the best option IMHO.

 

Ahhh right. Cheers mate. Been thinking of getting some new coilovers for a while now anyway so sounds about good time to get them. Any recomendations for a decent set of coilovers? Been looking at the BC Racing gear mainly
