Default Cold air feed cause afm codes?

Bit of a wierd one this.

Would a cold air feed cause afm error codes? Seemed to only happen when it's pissing it down. Yesterday on the way back from work. And then a little this morning on the way to work.

So I pulled over, pulled off the cold air feed as it goes straight into the filter and it seems to be more responsive now with no hesitation or error codes. Wtf? Lol...

Filter seems to be dry, so no water intake and cold air entry is in fog light cover..
