Default Hesitation, spluttering, popping!!! please help

hi guys, as the title says really! I have a 97 turbo2000, all was fine then one day few week this started, bit of hesitation throughout the rev range, feels almost like its dropping to 3 pots! put the foot to the floor n it goes but it bucks then it will pick up like nothings wrong! sometimes before boost or sometimes during boost (not nice). some days it just doesn't pic up at all can have foot to floor n it just runs like on 3 n struggles to hit boost at all! its very intermitant! it cuts out at junctions n I have to blip the throttle to stop it cutting out n on the way back down from the blip it pops like a shotgun going off!,
it is pretty standard barring a cotton green panel filter and dump valve!
so far ive replaced the coil, changed the plugs, cleaned the icv cleaned the boost selanoid and replaced the maf all made no difference! No cel no codes!
any ideas? thanks in advance!

Sounds like it's the dump valve, fit a standard re-cerc and hopefully your problems will go away.

Order a standard one from a breaker on here, £20 max. the springs fail on them and cause symptoms like yours, over fueling is your pops, hesitation and stuttering is boost leaking/ spring jamming, they're just a bad Idea in general on a Subaru.

Yeah yeah people run them and get away with it but if it's not mapped it causes over fueling and bore wash which will kill your engine eventually.
