Just realised I've only got 1 headlight but getting different answers to which bulb I need H1, H4, H7, it's for blob sti and it's for my main headlight dipped beam

 

I think those are H7. Take the bulb out and compare with online images.

I'm about 99.999% certain it's NOT an H4. That has two filaments, one for dip, one for main, yours uses separate bulbs.

no its not mr pedantic but i was guessing it would be the same as the blob is the next model and its just different shaped lights so chances were its the same bulbs.

i never told him to buy anything. i alluded to the fact that the bug sti had h1 bulbs so the blob might be the same. that was all nothing more. then you felt compelled to comment on my post and i responded. then you got all arsey about it. you didnt need to comment at all on my post and should have left alone. as i said you guessed and so did i. i didnt feel the need to pick on your post or question your "guesswork".
