what bhp is my new 98 type r?
Hi guys, just bought my second classic, a 98 type r.
guy who sold it said it was running 320ish but had never had it dyno'd but was wondering if people thought that was achieveable with the mods thats on it:
Autobahn 88 fmic
k and n induction kit
full decat wrapped exhaust (not sure of size or make, maybe 3-3.5")
Walbro fuel pumo
apexi power fc and commander
vf24 runnin 1.2 bar of boost(I think as label is corroded)
orange maf sensor (not actually sure of the difference between the green on my last sti and this orange one?) and hard pipe induction with cold air feed from bumper
All advice greatly appreciated

turbo is capable of 30, but all cars vary. My vf29 only made 290bhp with manifold, up pipe and full decat cos the turbo is showing its age.
Only way to know will be to get it on a dyno and see, 98 is now 17 years old so could be a bit tired or could be in good nick

He's got a Power FC ECU so I presume it's been mapped, wouldn't have bothered with the fmic personally at that level it's probably better on the standard top mount.
Mine ran 331bhp using VF34 and standard top mount.
Orange label maf is the best one of the Classics so that's all good.
