Default Spark plug gap too big?

What would be the effect of running PFR6G spark plugs at a gap of 1.1mm (as they come out of the box) ,
instead of the recommended 0.65mm?

The reason I ask is that I've just taken the plugs out of my two spare EJ208 280hp Legacy motors,
one was had PFR7B @ 0.7mm gap, the other had PFR6G @ 1.1mm

Mike.

I guess it could cause a misfire if the gap was too big.

sounds like you have the N/A version of the 6's that come with 1.1mm gap as std...............very common for us to sort misfires after AN Other has supplied the wrong plugs

PFR6B's come with approx 0.8mm as std but we often gap them to around 0.7 or 0.65

Agree with above. 0.7 is quite commonly used to gap at.
