Default Speaker adaptor problem, any ideas?

Hello all. I have been trying to fit Dieci Hertz 130 speakers to my 2006 wrx. I knew I would need a speaker mount to fit in the oem hole and an adaptor to fit between the oem wiring and the speaker so got on. But here's the problem:

The red fits fine, but the black wire from the adaptor is too small. I have looked everywhere for something that will fit, but can't.

Don't really want to go to a fitter as it cost money!

Any help would be appreciated.

it does use a cross over and is coaxial. there wasn't anything to suggest the adapter was for a tweeter!

Just go to Halfords and buy a spade connector kit and change the spade connector to a bigger one.
