Default replacement fuel filter

Im in the process of building a swirl pot setup for the boot of my 2.1 blob build. Im going to be replacing the oe under bonnet fuel filter with an inline filter.

Was wondering is a 30 micron filter sufficient for this?

Cheers

Hi there

I would go with 40 micron metal filter pre-pump, and 10 micron(Fuelab) pre injector. This is what we are run on our wagon at 450-490bhp and then with 2.35L at 555.5bhp

But I would say OE should be OK too as pre injectors fuel filter, but really depends on you

What fuel you will be running?

Are you thinking to run meth ?

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

When you say pre pump, where abouts on the system do you mean? In between swirl pot and 044?

I have bought a 30 micron bocsh inline filter but dont know how good this is or wether it will suffice.

Meth will be an option in the future but not yet

Cheers

Pre pump I mean yes between the Swirl pot and 044.
