How much camber can I run?

So i recently picked up a set of Rota Grid Drifts in 18x9.5 fitted with 255/35's. A trial fit on my widetrack sti proved I will need to make some adjustments to prevent the tire from fouling the arch. I purchased some camber bolts for the rear and I plan on having the arches pulled/rolled. In order to run 255's this is essential, running stretched 225's will minimize these issues.
My question is, how much camber can I run on the wheels before losing the additional grip provided by the 255's?

Also depends on usage.
A weekend toy that's usually in a corner on an a road is a much different set of requirements to an everyday driver that spends time on a motorway.
The wider you go the less camber youll get away with.
And agree on the stretch tyres issue, just don't do it ...... sticking 225's on a 9.5 is a complete waste of time as the 225 wont work as it has no sidewall. If you are thinking 225's to avoid the issues then stick with a 7.5 or 8 so the tyre still works as it should.

Hi there
As I told you on other thread, you will need to run coilovers and fairly high camber, with camber bolts you should be able get around -2.00 camber which is not enough, but we are run 255/40 ZR17 with 9JX17 ET25 with -2.00 at front and at back we are run -1.5,but at back our tyres stick bit more than we are wanted,if you want get rid all together this, then best way is get arches from ABW and then I would run around -2.00 camber all around
And stretched tyres, don't do it as above
Hope this helps
Thanks,Jura

Camber doesn't noticeably wear tyres, it's the amount of Toe that you run that will scrub you a bald patch on the inside edge, as it's basically dragging the tyre side ways, if you aim for zero Toe then you'll get pretty much zero wear.![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
P.S; Just fitting wider tyres isn't necessarily going to make it hold the road/handle better, you're still going to need a lot more parts to make it do that, all wider tyres will do by themselves on a scoob is cost you more money.
