Default Time attack/track car

Currently looking at building a full out time attack/track weapon, as in completely off road not for road use build.

Interested to hear opinions on what models you think would be the best to use and why. We're talking about just base models here without modifications being done to them, assuming they are level playing field tyre wise etc.

A Spec c is the base model to have, a hawkeye spec c model would be my choice

lightest classic you can find, start with the least amount of weight as possible before stripping

First thing you want to do is go onto the UK TimeAttack website and choose a class you'd feel would be best for you. They range from Clubman (1.6l engines or less) right up to Pro Extreme (Anything goes).

Spec c hawkeye is the best all round base car.

if your building it "properly" and starting from a basic shell then arguably the actual model will make little difference

if starting with a road car and doing minor mods then Spec-C as above
