Default Prosport Boost gauge needle noise

Recently got a Prosport boost gauge but the needle motor seems to be really loud. Had one years ago in another Scooby and never noticed the sound once.

Here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTgL...ature=youtu.be

When driving around town it also sounds like a geiger counter. Is this the same for all Prosport gauges? I sent to back to the retailer and they have tested two further units from stock and they make the same noise.

Very disappointed :-(

Thanks.

Yeah, don't mind the opening sequence, but I can hear it clearly when driving - which is a big distraction.

Does anyone know if other gauges that don't make the noise also use the same connectors as the prosport, that I could possibly use instead?
