VF35 or VF48

Hi all, currently running TD04 on me 06 Hawk but looking at upgrading to a bigger turbo with supporting mods, which outta the vf35 or vf48 would work best and give the most gains

The 48 will give more bhp but will push you into the danger zone of broken gear boxes.
