OK hear goes I'll start from the beginning I took my subaru
Version 5/6 1999 classic to zen Richard safe mapped it brought it home drove it for about 60 miles and it started hunting quite viciously and light came on so I simply connected the black plug on the underside of the column and read the flash code resulting in map sensor and thottle position sensor I have replaced both and set throttle position sensor to the correct voltage and reset ecu and rectifyed the engine light it is off and I have no current codes all is clear so then now I still have a idle problem when warm on cold start runs fine I took it to my pal with diagnostic kit and read no 02 sensor with maf connected when it is disconnected I'm getting readings from 02? Also my temp sensor is reading OK also stinks of fuel any ideas would be very much appreciated thanks?!

 

Why not contact zen and explain what has happened.

 

Low battery voltage made mine go insane. Replaced battery all is well.

 

when mine smelt of fuel it was overfueling which was caused by a faulty o2 senor, replaced it and drives tonnes better now

have you cleaned your iscv out?
