squeaky boot lid

Default squeaky boot lid

evening everyone ,
I've noticed that when i go down a rough bit of road the boot lid squeaks anyone else got this issue

I had this issue, tryied all sorts wd40, new boot seal, adjusting lock, ect.

In the end I had a mate drive my car with me in the boot so I could locate the problem,
For me it turned out to be the bracket that holds the boot lid hinge to the body of the car.

As its spot welded in place I had to stuff some foam behind it and it stopped the noise.

Look at the springs that open/close it, and are you sure it's not the spoiler moving?
