Default power steering pipe modification

Hi there,
I've had to modify the route of my power steering pipes on my hawk sti due to rotated turbo intercooler pipe location but not realising how much pressure is in the pipe I just joined it with a bit of pipe but it keeps blowing off.
Does anyone make braided PAS hoses? or extended ones?
cheers Morgan

Hi, I bought all the fittings and hose from torques on eBay to make new ones that would clear my new setup, however I didn't get the chance to fit it as the luni who I live with threw all my AN fittings away. I got all my sizes and info from nasioc where someone who had already done it.

Pirtek and the likes will make you new pipe work.

You want to be bloody careful, power steering fluid makes a canny flame! Especially when it meets a nice hot turbo!

Pump produces around 1000 psi - proper swaged fittings needed.

Earls do a high pressure power steering hose, I got mine made up with correct fittings from them.

Sorry it's a sti v4 classic 1998

it's very intermittent so if I was to test the voltage to the pump everything would/should be fine as it only plays up for a 1minute or 2

I used a “normal” braided hose of unknown origin on the pressurised pas hose once, it split on track and caused a fire, I now run a proper pas hose and fittings from earls performance;
