Default Classic '95 WRX - fuel pump and coil packs

My Impreza failed to start recently after a couple of years of incident free motoring, which is pretty good considering it didn't seem to have been looked after amazingly well before I got it.

The problem seemed to be with the fuel pump so I removed it and got it working again by giving it a tap – now it is running fine but I am reluctant to continue driving with this as pump could let me down. There's ebay specials and the Walbro replacements. Does anybody have any experience with installing these and whether they're an okay way to go?

Thanks for any help!
