Default 2004 JDM STI Impreza - Catted TS Downpipe Recommendations

Hi Folks,

I have recently purchased a 2004 JDM WRX STI (twin scroll).

It currently has an HKS Hi Power exhaust (rear and middle sections).

I would like to finish off the exhaust system with a catted downpipe (saving any MOT / emissions / noise issues).

Any recommendations on what downpipe to go for?

From searching the Milltek seems to be of poor quality. Hayward and Scott are an option, they have just requested I measure the centre pipe in a straight line. Keeping the system matched with all HKS does appeal, but it seems the partially divorced HKS downpipe has a few restrictions in its mouth.

Thanks in advance,
Neil

Using a cobra 200 cell MOT friendly sports cat on one of my cars for the last 6 years. No problems.

Just had a look on their site, no sign of one for the Twin Scroll, unless I'm being blonde...

You could be right actually, hadn't clocked yours is a twin scroll.

Give them a ring, they are very helpful indeed.

Looking at it you don't have a lot of options for twin scroll.

Cobra didn't do one in 2010, but you never know.

I think Tomei do one too.

A bit of information for you SC46 twin scroll turbo, 1000cc injectors, RCM downpipe no cat, mapped correctly no problem getting through test in N.I.
