Default WRX 2.5 Big end wear - Easy fix ?

My 2.5 engine has a bit of big end noise. Is this an easy fix ? Can you re shell the big ends with engine in car ?
Any Garages or engine builders in South Yorkshire want to re shell my big ends for me ?

Its a bit more than just replacing the shells its going to need a full strip down to remove the crank, the block has to be split to remove the crank, the bottom end will have failed because of wear or det so a full rebuild will be required, best of forging the engine while its apart as the 2.5 is of a weak design.

So what's the cost of a rebuild roughly ? What's the cost of a short recon engine ? The car has only done 72k , saying that the gearbox has a whine too , guess its been thrashed a bit
drives well though still , plenty of power and still a pleasure to drive.
