Geometry set up for track.
Hi guys.
So im buiding my scoob specifically for tracking. Im looking for recommenadtions for a decent geometry set up to start with and i can slowly tweak. What settings are people running on track. Im not bothered about road comfort as its a dedicated track car.
Current set up is.
Bc br coilovers
Front whilteline arb and drop links.
Anti lift kit
Rear cdf arb and drop links
Rear camber bolts.
Strut braces all around.
Cheers

I started out with Prodrive suspension settings. Unforunately I do not have the figures here.
I would put a stiffer ARB on the back than the front
I would then get get a basic 4 wheel alignment on.
And then put in 2degrees negative camber on the fronts.
(If you run more it can make it bad to drive on the road)
The ARB and the negative camber will help with the understeer.
Run a set 595RSRs and play around with the tyre pressures - this makes a big difference.
With the BCs just wack them up to stiffest all round and then see if taking them a few few clicks down here and there makes any difference
The way to do basic suspension set up is to go out. Try and work out what can be improved and then change one thing and one thing only to see if it makes a difference or not. If you change more than one thing you will not know what has made the improvement to it on the limits.
Hope this helps
