You got the basic idea already. It takes about half a day depending haw seized the bolts are my top tip is soak all the bolts in wd40 2 days before you start then again the day before then again just before & priming the new turbo is a must or it will run on dry bearings and will end up knackered. Good luck it's pretty easy really.

Thanks Richard, can you please confirm the priming process i have read you can remove the fuel pump control module in the boot, then you do 3x 10-20 second cranks then plumb it all back in at away you go.. my bolts seem okay has the DP off the other day and it was easy..

Intercooler off and you have to un hook the the exhaust from the rubber bungs so that you can push the downpipe back to get over the turbo studs.
There's a fixing bracket on the downpipe as well to undo.
The worst bit is putting your turbo back on and getting the turbo onto the uppipe studs and the intake pipe and the oil return pipe.
3 things at once.
There's lots of techniques at getting the oil return pipe back on.
My preferred one is fix rubber hose to turbo with jubilee clip then slide the hose over the metal return line,I leave the standard squeezy clip on the hose as it is able to push over the metal pipe as well.
Also lube the rubber hose so it slides over easily.
Someone else I know does it other way round.
Jubilee clip the hose to the metal line then slide turbo onto it.
Good luck.

A spark plug fits into the coolant line and stops it leaking all out.
Have some spare nuts and maybe studs.
New genuine gaskets.
There's also a little restrictor pill in one of the vacuum pipes that fit onto the turbo. Make sure it doesn't come out.it shouldn't but know that it's there.
