Default Higgins TT Subaru Specs !!!

Looks like a monster !!

Did 126.9mph average,

Bikes do 133 odd

Don't think it will match the bikes this week but still a great achievement

Certainly is a great achievement, amazing that the WRC tech is still being used, shows how good it was / is.

Yes external reservoirs mounted on the wheel arches.

Manifolds will be a low mount conversion, allows for a straighter exhaust path as the turbo is minted down next to the manifolds

http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/mo...car-lap-record

Very impressive this afternoon. 128.73mph lap.

Not at all popular with the marshalls though. If it crashed into the crowd....

Subaru knew better than to use that turd when reliability was needed.

If anyone follows rallying , Peter Lloyd had the last 2008 hatch WRC S14 built , and it was bought by Prodrive earlier this year , and that car has been stripped to build this car , although it will have some engine changes as it doesn't have a turbo restrictor fitted now

I was speaking to a chap from Prodrive. Although it's a highly modified set up they dropped it on to the chassis from the next impreza model.

Turbo is in the stock location and running a FMIC. The turbo uses a filter mounted where the TMIC would normally sit!

Could well be part of the anti lag system. The earlier Subaru WRC cars used a considerably more interesting method than most.

Its not a full WRC spec car. It's heavily based on one but certain parts are unique to this car. Whatever spec it is its a monster!

Certainly not off the shelf stuff, I bet the suspension setup would cost minimum £10k,

Sure the full specs will be released at the end of week when they know their best time.

Yes EXE-TC , I have these on my WRC car , they are very good , I took mine to Exeter to have mine rebuilt 2 years ago , was told my car set would be £14k new !

The rebuild cost of £1350 wasn't so bad lol
