Default methanol

I am driving on methanol 10%, and now i have to go for a annual inspection for the car.
But the cars co2 emissions is too high, can it be that is to high because i ride on methanol.
Does methanol increase the co2 or not?

My solution to most things is reset the Ecu , if it's used to running on one thing it may need a hint to run on some thing else ? , are you saying the standard cat is on the car ? If not you need a cat to pass

It drives ok but the co2 and lamda reading is to high with only cat in the middepype and standaard back box.
My question was could this be because I am running with 20%meth mapping.
But I already have a answer to the problem I go to the annual inspection and if I am there I go and make a small chance in the mapping for the co2 reading with a computer.

Subarus need the main cat to pass an mot , the down pipe is normally the main cat , the mid pipe is a resonator , if it's been mapped as it is that would be the problem
