Default Injector Dynamics install questions

Hi,

I am in the process of installing ID injectors on my car, just a quick conformation question. Does the thick o ring on the original (blue) injector closest to the electrical connection point (second one along from the left) need to be taken off and fitted to the new injector ? I have tired both ways and the fuel rail will not sit down correctly if i use the o ring but i just wanted to be sure i wasn't missing something, it fits fine if i just install the new injector as pictured.

I had issues when fitting my power enterprise as they were phisically larger.

Had to space the fuel rails out a little.

Think i used a couple m8 washers or m6.

Just as the new injectors were taller

When I fitted pe injectors I never fitted this o ring just the o rings that came with the pe injector, I then later fitted some asnu injectors and it's the same with them just fit them with the o rings they come with.

On mine they had to put the top washer off the old injector under the new top one so it wouldn't push it down and leak

I just fitted 850 IDs and used what's supplied, works fine.
