Default 255lph Pump On PPP Bugeye STI

Hi all,

Sorry for what may seem a stupid question however a brief search couldn't give me an answer.

I own a PPP Bugeye STI, and purchased a 255lph Walbro pump as a precaution. Having come from 1.8t Audi's I know what a failing fuel pump can do, and wanted to ensure the injectors were getting enough fuel.

I posted on a Facebook Subaru page about my purchase and was told I would need to get it mapped for the 255lph pump.

Is this the case?

I had assumed as I previously would have that as long as the FPR was doings it's job the change of rail pressure would be minimal to non existent.

As my car is the PPP I know it has the sports cat, center section and back box, should have an uprated fuel pump and obviously the map.

Will the 255Lph pump really be too much?

Thanks for any replies.

Doesn't need mapped for a 255lph fuel pump.
