Default Fitting used injectors.

Hi all. Whats your thoughts on this.

04 WRX. Iv'e got some used newage pink STI injectors on the way for my build. Iv'e never had to change injectors before as my previous cars have always had items fitted to fuel enough for my build. As you know the stock injectors on an 04 wrx only go to about 300bhp... So iv'e got pinks on the way.

Iv'e bought them from a reputable seller that I have used for years off here with no problems so I trust they are fine. But, is there anything you guys recommend to do before fitting in regards to changing any seals etc. Just so there no issues when everythings at the garage been fitted then mapped. Or would you just go with how they are and get them fitted.

TIA

if you can have them cleaned and flow tested then fit new seals to them. Pinks are getting on a bit now (if your buying in future look for the blues from a hawk wrx or STI) so the seals could be worn. Cleaning and flow testing may be a bit of hassle but will give you peice of mind that your fresh build won't snuff it unexpectedly.

Were they off eBay via bidding last night by any chance?!
Check the seals, lower seals are not much more than a fiver on ebay and offer piece of mind from leaks..
I've messaged lateral for a quote for ultrasonic clean and flow test, and will update price when I have it..
Alternatively, fit them and turn car onto first click on IGN to prime the fuel system and check for leaks

Hi, I ordered an up pipe and coolant header tank spacer kit off you last week, may I say thanks for such a quick turn around and the up pipe looks really good quality!

I'll be in touch via email again soon in regards to the injector service and a set of inlet thermal spacers.
