Default Turbo inlet

Has anyone used the the 2ply air duct from ash hoses for the turbo inlet rather than the ridiculously priced group n intake from rcm? A lot of cars at totb seemed to be using it but I have got some and can't think of a way of clamping it.

its ridiculously priced for a reason

look at the thickness of it

and what do you need a way of clamping? one end clamps to turbo, the other end you get a metal insert and clamp the pipe & your induction kit to it

Because it has the reinforcement it isn't a smooth outer surface. Using a jubilee clip wouldn't make an airtight connection on either side. I understand the group n samco pipe is a well manfufactured bit of kit but is still way over priced for what it is. Maybe I will have to bite the bullet n buy it anyway but I was hoping I could find a way of using the induction pipe instead as like I said plenty of high spec cars seemed to be using it at totb.
