Broken VF34
Hi chaps,
It would seem that my VF34 has shat it's self so im looking at replacing it.
My questions are what else is available to suit my needs? The car is a Bugeye Spec C so i want to keep the TMI. I don't use the car as my daily and only do around 2k per year.
At the moment the car is stage 1 running 1.5 bar of boost, full 3" system + decat and the standard air box but i feel it needed a bit more power.
Ive been looking at the TD MDX555 400 turbo as 400 bhp is where id like the car to be but ive been told that it would need to run at 1.7bar to make full use out of it and that 1.7 bar will be to much boost for standard head studs.
My other thought is to buy a new VF34 and send it to Turbo Dynamics to have it billeted.
Help/advice please.

Mine peaks at 1.7 settles at 1.6 used a spec C map sensor as i was told i needed it on my uk car to allow this.
That's on an SC42 remade by Owen Developments with bigger wheel etc.
Still stock engine at 63k
I'd go for it Turbo and injectors are main things you need
