Default How do I fit bucket seats correctly?

Bear with me, but I have bought a couple of Corbeau seats and have never fitted buckets before. I want sliders, at this moment in time, so do I need to look for rails that the seats mount directly to, or do you usually use separate side mounts and then find rails that they bolt to?

Apologies for the stupid question!

Depends on the seat really, but usually rails will fit direct to the seat and the mounts bolt onto the rails.

Which are best? Because I am pretty sure I have seen rails that have side mountings built into them but I don't know if these tend to be better/worse.

Also, if running Corbeau XL seats I'm not sure if the rails will need to be different?

I bolted Buddy Club extra low seat mounts to Sparco seat 'side' mounts; then bolted the whole lot to the bottom half of the Subaru seat slider assembly.

that meant that I could use a universal slider assembly and the Subaru bottom rail which fitted the floor mounts exactly. And it was the cheapest I could think of

You'll need proper rails to make them slide and fit safely, these are from buddy club

As said. Buy aftermarket Subaru specific sliding rails, if you bought your seats new they will have come with side mounts, if not you need side mounts too, bolt it all together and done.

I have bride rails, and they were £300 for the pair second hand so not cheap.

I've got a drivers side base you can have for nothing and have a play around with, only at Huddersfield. It's on ebay but not selling. Let me know.

Cheers for the offer If I need it I'll give you a shout.

I've actually seen these, the Buddy Club ones as mentioned above. Looks like they are all I'd need?

Just not entirely sure if they fit the XL seats or not.

Yes they look the same to me but you can buy them direct for less, I have a GT passenger seat and they seem to work fine albeit a little stiff...both of them lol.

M2's are £115 with vat and the buddy club low rails are £150

we stock and supply the specific BC style rails - best option IMO as the seat height, etc. is not overly high
