Could the injectors cause it? There the only things that were second hand so couldn't be 100% sure they were fine before hand but couldn't understand how they would cause it

v2 would be phase 1/1.5 so adapters would be needed. no idea what happens if phase 2 are installed on 1/1.5 rails without adapters

Sounds electrical to me. If you can turn the engine over by hand without issue then unlikely to be a mechanical problem. If the starter motor refuses to even try and turn the engine then there's an electrical problem somewhere. You sure the battery is charged? If you got a multimeter see what the volts drop to when cranking the engine.

Otherwise I'd be looking at relay/fuse/sensor fault or disconnected.

Had same issue just now after fitting parellel fuel lines, high flow rails etc. I had the rails made to fit phase 1 manifold but accept phase 2 injectors so no adaptirs needed. First the rails weren't made right and pissed loads of fuel thru into my oil and exhaust. They were returned and sent back to me and put injectors back in and all was good and it ran fine....until I started it next day and ran really lumpy. I tried the next day and it didn't turn over just locked up. It did turn slightly by hand but as mentioned, I took out plugs and cranked by hand and fuel came out the front drivers side plug hole. I then took the rails out (with parellel lines this is easier) complete with injectors and fuel lines attached and got misses to turn to ignition. Fuel pissed out of the lower seal on front drivers side. If all is well when the fuel pump primes the system on ignition(car not running)the injectors should be closed and hold the fuel back. When I took the front drivers injector out I'd managed to squish the new lower seal!! Refitted with new lower seal and smeared a bit of Vaseline round the seals and it popped in nice and easy and problem solved. I did replace the oil just to be sure.
