As above. A properly plumbed in boost gauge with show vac at idle and off boost coasting etc. Usually connected to a spare nipple on the intake manifold.
Where to connect boost gauge
pipe so it doesn't show vacuum on the gauge. Ta
Either t into compressor outlet or just before throttle body. The former will show slightly higher boost pre intercooler.
