has anyone on here ever owned a pt6262 turbo.

Thinking about buying used Precision Turbo 6262 off a guy It's the ceramic ball bearing version Was told there's no play side to side or up and down but he said tiniest bit of play in and out. about 1mm.
just wondering if that amount of play is normal.

i thought. even if its a small amount of movement in and out would indicate the shaft maybe worn buying it is and a def no no.

however im no expert on turbos.

 

A turbo has to have play otherwise oil wouldn't be able to pass through it, as long as the wheels aren't touching the housings it should be Ok
