Default sound proofing

i like a decent loud exhaust but not the drone all the time , i bought some soundproofing from ebay for about 12£ , i've soundproofed the boot especially the spare tyre well, it's surprising how much quieter it is when you are cruising probably a third reduction in noise

just a pair of scissors and have covered any thing i can get near too under the boot tray especially the spare wheel area as no sound proffing there , took 15 mins or so

Ordered a set as with a 3.5 inch straight through system it does drone a bit on the motorway.

it does improve things , i've bought a second lot , i would go under the back seats too

That's ok, but i think you will find Silent Coat is more effective, ideally combine the two.

I was looking to do this in the near future, my roof lining is down at the moment i wonder what effect it would have in the roof lining, door cards, boot etc

it is noticeable not msssive the mrs picked up on it and agreed it was worth doing , works best when cruising along , i did it on my v8 it was more expensive soundproofing but made a lot difference
