No crap idle control problems. No ugly throttle cable. If u was to run A/L would be more aggressive. Main reason is when running a Sequential gearbox you get the down blips on down shifts changes

Following this now. Thinking of getting the cosworth inlet manifold but they are only compatible with DBW not cable.

Did the OP get anywhere on this?

What ECU are you using and whats controlling the gearshifts?

Its a pretty easy conversion, the only hardware really needed is a DBW pedal and throttle body, then some wiring and a later ECU to control

If you go aftermarket ECU, bar Pectel, most of the others make this a very easy conversion

sorry to hijack original post. Im currently running Alcatek so i guess i would just need a DBW pedal and throttle body. How complex is the wiring?

Depends on your definition of complex.

TB essentially needs, Drive +ve, Drive -ve, 5v, 2 position outputs to ECU, signal ground

Pedal needs, 5v, 2 position outputs to ECU, signal ground.

thanks for the advice. I wouldnt be confident wiring all that myself so ill think about who i could use to do it for me. Next will be seeing how much the DBW pedal and TB can be boight for.

thanks again

I actually thought about doing this to my blob, so have a pedal and throttle body here but I'll never get round to doing it so if you're interested drop me a pm. Also have the hawkeye dbw loom off the inlet with plugs for throttle body.
