I had the glovebox out of the car today and noticed this, Looks like a speaker? attached to the bar behind the glovebox with two cable ties. I did not cut it loose and could not see any markings? Is this in all cars and does anyone have any idea what it is?

 

Not seen that before, might be part of after market alarm system?

 

When I did the airbag recall an my car I also found one of these, it was the speaker for the traffic master.

 

has the car had a phone kit fitted at some point ?
