Default Turbo choice

I have a vf35 fitted to my stroker wrx new age engine fitted in my p1. Current spec is k+n panel filter. V7-8 sti tmic, fresh 2.1, ported and polished headers and up pipe, ported turbo and blitz nur spec turbo back. Mapped by bob rawle at 1.4 bar.337/342. Ran on a dyno yesterday and made 308.4/331. This dynos known to be a heat breaker with the numbers so I'm not worried about that as the torques very strong low down.
what I want to is there any point in going for a vf30 or 34, fitting a 3 port, fpr and upping the boost slightly? Even doing these on the turbo I have? It's great going thing but power dies off round 6600 and I thought maybe a vf34 would be stronger up there.
not wanting to look at ecu's or anything now. Just improve on what I have.
All advice welcome

unless there is something wrong with your turbo you wont see much difference with a change, you'd be better upgrading to a sc36 or 38

Had been thinking that. I'll have to keep an eye out for something.

Classic STi 3-port solenoid + SC38 + Harvey Smith 'trick' up-pipe from Alyn + STi injectors then back to Bob.

You should see 370-380bhp and tons of torque. I did.

Sorry what injectors do you mean?
Ive been chatting to someone here about getting an eculabs job. Any experience with them? What Ecu are you on?

Sorry, no experience of Eculabs. I'm running ID1000s. These are total overkill. Bob R told me 440s would probably have been good enough and easier to control. But, given that he got my engine spinning smoother than a pint of Boddingtons cream, he'll work with whatever you've got.

I'm on an EcuTek ecu.

I might just have to save a few extra quid and go for an sc38. I'm keen on the eculabs idea for anti lag and launch control. I want to head for 400hp . Where did you get your injectors and at what price may I ask?

Ha ha. Everybody wants 400bhp but I've found it's not an easy a target as it mght seem.

I imported my ID1000s, a Grimspeed top mount and some other stuff from RallySportDirect in the States.

I got them for silly prices (even allowing for the duty) especially as it was $1.60/£1 and well before we voted Brexit and crashed the pound.

I'll worry about the gearbox when I get that far to have that problem.
I'm reading mixed reports on vf43's and vf48's. How would either of these cope with my set up? I'll be porting it as well btw

and what about up rating the actuator on my own vf35 or one of turbos

Keep your eyes peeled for an md321h secondhand if your aiming around 400, spools like vf35 but pulls much harder. In my own opinion I wouldn't change your vf35 for another vf turbo, just save a few more quid and wait for cheap md turbo to come up

I didn't think md's came cheap.lol. Been reading good things about ported vf43's. Was thinking cheap upgrade along with up rated actuator might yield decent results. I don't have to have the magic 400hp but I'm keen to get it to 350+. It won't be launched or anything to drastic, just a sharp road car. I know the box will suffer but I'll deal with that when it happens.

Iv seen md321 turbos go for between 500 and 800 quid generally on here.
Vf43 shud see u easily pass 350 on a 2.1

Didn't think they could be had at that sort of Money. I'll keep an eye out and see what turns up. Thanks
