Front 4 pot brake caliper casting bolt torque please?
Hi All,
Thanks in advance for any replies.
2.5 wrx hawkeye wagon. Front calipers are OEM sumitomo 4 pots smooth with white SUBARU decal.
Just stripped down & rebuilt my front calipers with new pistons & seals.
Trying to find the toque for the 4 x M10 by 1.25 mm pitch bolts that hold the 2 caliper half’s together (the casting bolts). Can’t find it anywhere .
Anyone know the torque?
CheersPaul

Hi All,
No answer on this one so here is an update on the torque I used which was 65 Nm using Loctite 243 thread locker. The rebuilt calipers are spot on with no fluid leaks.
Cheers Paul
