Engine Code P0462

Engine Code P0462
Hi Guys,
It concerns my 2005 STI.
Few days ago, I had the low fuel alarm led turning on, whereas I just had a full refuel.
After 2min it turned off.
Last morning the same, but this time it stayed on (still with 90% of the fuel tank full). in the evening it was still there. Also the "engine check" light turned on.
I used my OBD scan toll on my phone and get the code P0462 : Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit Low.
I cleared it, but it will probably comeback.
It might just be a bad contact somewhere and I am not too worried, but maybe one of you could tell me where to check to fix this.
Cheers
Angus

As it went worst (fuel gauge stuck at 60% no matter what fuel level is) I finally attacked this problem... the wrong way.
I replaced both fuel level sensors but they were fine (between 2-3 and 52-53 ohm on the range, linear as it should...).
So I used Don's Diag procedure which I was scaring me off at first, but I managed to use it and finally the problem seems to be from the "Combination meter" (Step4=No & Step6=Yes)
So I guess i have to replace it, I would like the one from the Hawk i think (the one sweeping up and down at ignition on).
pb: I will have to go with the mileage coming from the cluster replacement or is there a solution?
