Default Intermittent coolant drip

Anyone come across this before? 2001 wrx an intermittent leak coming from the offside rear of the engine behind the sump? Its just a few drips which stops after a minute when the engine is switched off.

Definitely sure its coolant?

Just to rule it out - Its not from the air conditioning drain located around that area?
It generally drips just after turning the engine off and any icy build up in the condenser thaws.

Its definitely coolant, I thought possibly turbo pipes but they seem ok, headgasket was the other but im getting no other symptoms and its intermittent. It does it on the way to work but not on the way back.

Shame it wasnt the AC...
Thats an odd one then, have to get it up on the ramps and have a good look about. Hope its just a hose clip needing tightening or similar!

Pressure tested, im getting a drip every 30 seconds from where the steering rack/ cross member meet under the turbo. Turbo hoses are ok block is wet under the turbo , Cant really see but im guessing the headgasket is there and not much else..

Very very rare to see an external coolant or oil leak from a head gasket.
As said above, check turbo coolant feed and return pipes for leaks.
My money would be on the coolant return hose from the turbo to header tank, leaking from the turbo end of the hose/clip.

Turbo CHRA coolant hard pipe runs around that area and bolts to the turbo on the intercooler side with two banjo bolts and copper washers - might be that leaking.

Just a quick thank you, pressure tested it again today after it had been standing a week rather than last time which was after a 30 minute drive.
There were no leaks underneath but the bottom turbo hose was dripping which given 30 minutes i could imagine being enough to replicate the problem i had. Im ordering a new one and the feed pipe and fingers crossed that sorts it.
