Water in light cluster
#1
Looks like I've got a few drops of water on the inside of a light cluster at the back of my MY98Wagon. I thought I would get the lens off, dry it out, and seal the adges again. Can I get it off? Can I f**k. I found 4 nuts to remove, are there any more, do I apply force and if so where and how much?
I could do with a Haynes manual, is there such a beast?

Had this problem on MY97 wagon, I did exactly the same as you and lost a nut in the process. The lights are siliconed on, or some derivitive of silicone so major ragging would be needed which I wouldn't suggest. I have just dried mine out, lots of kitchen roll or a hair dryer will do the job and sealed the outside edges and join between the top and bottom sections of the light with clear silicone. This seems to have done the trick. Not too sure were the water was coming from so I sealed every where I could see. Hope this helps.
