Default Newage plastic header tanks

I remember someone saying on here that the plastic ones crack I'm going be buying a new header tank and was going get the plastic one but I won't bother if there common to crack

i thought the plastic one was an upgrade over the metal one which rusted, both my blobeyes had metal ones which were rusty as ****, my current hawkeye has the plastic one and all is fine

Plastic header tanks only tend to crack if you accidentally lean on them while working in the turbo area and break one of the coolant hose stubs off.

Or if you over torque the bolts. Or so I'm told...
