Default Differences in shells of WRX and STI and non-turbo Imprezas

I did a search but could only find people getting told off about wasting effort turbo'ing a non-turbo Subaru.

My question is, are the shells of Imprezas of the same year the exact same 100%? i.e. 1998-2000 GC8s or Hawkeyes, is the STI JDM shells the exact same as a non-turbo UK-spec Impreza? In terms of weight, dimensions, etc. To clarify, talking about the shells and mounting points for engine, etc. not the suspension or body panels or engine being different in STI.

As far as I know yes. Think some JDM panels are made of alloy but as far as I know the shells are the same. Not 100% though. Why you looking to reshell?
