I know this has been covered before, but the search is still down.

Cheers in advance.

If I remember correctly they go a little like this.

1 = Offside front
2 = Nearside Front
3 = Offside rear
4 = Nearside rear

Front = Radiator
Rear = Bulkhead

GC/GF8 EJ20 engines (up to '00) have the same cylinder layout.
The illustration below should be easy to understand. In essence, fuel path goes like this

Fuel Pan -> Fuel Filter -> Cyl#4 -> Cyl#2 -> Cyl#1 -> Cyl#3 -> FPR -> Fuel Pan

Cheers Jan, that's a handy diagram! I'll now be able to check ignition timing effectively - although I'm not sure where the marks are as yet.

Wink

Marks as fair as I am aware are at the front of the block between the belts.. below the Crank sensor...... on the crank pully and the block etc...

Leeroy, since the search is down, the last time I asked the same question, was told that there is no timing adjustment possible with the Scoob (short of a remap), you may be able to see the mark, but that's about it, unlikde older car models where one can adjust the distributor angle.
