Default Aircon button not working

I have a 05 Wrx blob(hawk style dash) and the aircon button has stopped working. It was fine then would only work intermittently but now it’s stopped altogether. Does anyone have any ideas? Will I need to replace and can I replace one control only?

Thanks.

Dave

Not exactly much to go on,, how do you know it's just the button and not the system??
Have you checked it still has gas in the system, any blown fuses, etc.?
Maybe some diagnostics might help -see attached pdfs

Thanks.

I didn’t realise the light wouldn’t come on if the system needed re-gased. I’ll check the fuses and then try and get it somewhere that can do it.

Cheers

I would run through the diagnostic procedure to see what's what.
